Preventative Health

Preventative health and wellbeing is about all of us; the way we live our lives, the opportunities and chances we have and the communities and environments we live in. Preventative health is about preventing disease rather than treating disease. Our health comes from more than our individual choices and our team will work with you on prevention strategies so that you can live better for longer.

All results are checked by the Doctor. If the result is marked as “No Action” it will be communicated to patients by reception staff as “No Action”, which means your results do not require a follow-up appointment. However, if your symptoms persist, please feel free to book a further appointment with our receptionist.

If the result has been noted as “Discuss”, Doctor will request that the patient make an appointment to discuss the result.

Pap smear results and action will routinely be sent by mail, so please make sure your address details and phone numbers are current.
